When your dies need to be made, your key
lines can be supplied in a number of different ways:
. A film positive with trim marks that
correspond to the trim marks on the printed sheet, this gives
us correct positioning when layed over your printed sheet
. A previously die cut sample or a sample
out of a colour proof, indicating the correct size and position
. A scaled drawing with ALL dimensions
marked. Angles must also be marked if critical
. Files can be emailed but must be saved
in a PC format and as a AutoCAD .dwg file or an Adobe Illustrator
.ai file, version 7 - This is compatable with the automatic die
making machinery. You MUST include the size of the unit so we can
check that the file opens at the correct size. Also a position must
be supplied for correct die cutting |
